Honestly, I'm just surprised it's as close as it is. I'm very used to being pretty much the only cake supporter in these types of debates.

Never have liked cake, some people make very good cakes and I like those but by and large, cake is Meh.
If I ever get married, I having assorted pies, everyone can find a pie they like. probably cost the same or less than a big overwrought cake.
And cheese cake is a pie, a custard pie!
