I got my mix (listed below in my signature) on February 18th as day old chicks...and I can tell - a few are getting close to laying!

I'm SO excited - I can hardly WAIT!!!

Not sure about the laying part, I don't remember if I had February hatches, but I have to say your birds are really nice. Did you get them from a hatchery?
 
Thanks, guys! Yes, these are all hatchery chicks...from Ideal. I think they're really pretty, too, but I know that the purists would turn their nose up at their quality. I'm really happy with them, and I will order again from them in the future.
 
I got my 'rainbow layers' from Murry McMurry on the 9th of Feb. and 2 of them started laying at 18 weeks. The red star(sex link) and the white leghorn have been laying every day for 2 weeks now but the others (2 light brahmas, 2 bl. minorcas, and a buff orpington) are not laying yet.
