Arizona Fire Ants

I recently discovered a massive massive ant hill in a section of my chicken run. I have it fenced off so the chickens won’t go in there. It was so bad that I sprayed the whole thing with Raid. So my question is: How long will it take for the Raid to breakdown and not be poisonous to my chickens. Should I spray it with water?

Not sure how long it'll take, maybe read the can. You can buy permethrin and use that tio, it's safe around your flock.
