Hello, BYC. Situated in the Arkansas River Valley on 17 acres, I am developing my little hobby farm gradually. We started three years ago with 4H birds and have gone up and down in numbers. Currently I have 32 bob whites in one pen, 8 younger bobs in another, a pair or bantam barred rock, a pair of bantam silver spangled homburgs, 4 female and two male game birds. But, starting tomorrow and over the next three weeks, we should get much more crowded. I have 6 each of the hamburg and barred rocks ready to hatch tomorrow, 60 eggs went into a friend's bator yesterday: hamburgs, favorelles, buttercups, Houdans, and silkies. Plus my daughter's new 4H birds should arrive in a week or so. Oh, and 20 bob eggs in. The bator for 5 days.

Lol. That should keep me busy. Next few months should involve some coop building!
