Aseel are supposed to have pea comb.Hey that aseel rooster in the pic has a peacomb? Or is that a Rose comb? Hopefully rose bc if not I'm back to square one
And in the photos, his comb looks like heterozygous pea to me.
If the rooster is heterozygous pea, then he can give P or p to his daughter.I agree that it's the mixed hens chick. The pullet either has a walnut or pea comb(which are the 2 comb types we narrowed it down to. I'll get better pics later.) It would have to get the dominant P from one of those hens for both the Pea and Walnut combs..
If the daughter is heterozygous pea, she could have any mother.
If the daughter is homozygous pea, she would have to get it from both her father and her mother, so her mother would also need to have a pea comb.
