A baby monitor! What a cool idea, I never would have thought to do that. Does this indicate an obsession? If so, I'm obsessed. Congrats on your first egg! Now I must check @ Amazon for a baby monitor.

I tried to enter as many details as possible because these have been the questions that I had as I read others first egg announcement.
I wanted to give those waiting as much info as I could.

I like the monitor better than a radio for background noise and it's fun guessing who is saying what. Because their light comes on at 3:30am, we hear them start at that time but they really get noisy at daybreak. There is no rooster.

So what works best for collecting the eggs when more kick in? Basket, egg carton?

I love the idea of the baby monitor. What a great idea. I love listening to their cackles and bok boks, it would be a nice background noise to wrapping my holiday gifts! (I'm not kidding!).
