Hello there! I am new. So please bare with me. Ok,I have hens that are meaner than others. And they do the same thing. Gang up and peck. Pin down. It's just downright meanness! I believe that this is what's referred to as a "pecking order. "( literally!). I can say for sure though that when my hens go broody,they are super aggressive. Do you know the signs of a "broody " hen? If it's not that.......Um,it sounds to me like you have a hen issue more than a rooster issue. But again honey,I could be way off. I know in Alaska,on the frontiers,they cull the "nasty" hen. As to protect the rest of the flock. Best of luck to you. God Bless!

Hopefully she will go broody soon so she can be occupied with something. If you leave a nest with 7-10 fake eggs she may think its a clutch and sit on it.
