Assisted button quail hatch

I've tried giving it some nutri drops directly and it seems a little better, though I've got no idea if it really ingested it. I wonder if I should mix that into the water instead?

Two more have hatched quite late, and now we've tried moving those into the brooder, one or two of the chicks that hatched yesterday are pecking at them a lot. We've put the newer ones in a smaller box inside the same brooder for now, do you think we'll be able to integrate them soon or will they always be picked on?

They should get along before too long.

In the video it looks like your quail is panting. Mine do that when they are hot or scared.

Enjoy that first poop-free day! None of my quail started pooping until day 2, even though they started eating and drinking as soon as the popped out of their eggs. They'll more than make up for it later! One of my quail didn't start pooping until day 3. She had some injuries when she hatched so I was very happy her first time! Now she makes huge messes everywhere... :ya

Thank you for the points Chip! I think you are right, they were just a bit scared. Yet another one hatched last night so now there are 6 happy little fluff balls running around (and like you said, now pooping a lot!) 💕 I've added a picture to the hatch along thread.
