I love watching this group grow! I ordered an unknown assortment of female polish breed chickens. I’m playing the old game what variety is this? I can’t tell if I have black white crested or blue. I think I see a silver laced. I have no idea what the nearly all black chick may be. Anyone have any guesses? They are about one week old.

What hatchery? Sometimes hatcheries include Crèvecœurs in top hat assortments. Either way, varieties of these chicks are, white crested black, black, buff laced, and silver laced. The black chicks could potentially be Crèvecœurs!

I ordered from Tractor Supply, and it looks like their chicks come from Hoover’s Hatchery? Thank you for your post! I’m going to research Crevecoeurs now. I’ve never heard of that breed before!
