I've been trying to buy this for years, and finally was able order online this morning. It has been hard to get because it is only sold in the UK, unless you are professional exterminator in Washington State. At least that's what I was able to piece together.

In 2013 my sister in Yakima looked out the back window to see their dog playing with what looked like a grey balloon. Turns out it was an air-filled dead rat. They had hired exterminators who used Eradibait, which does not let rats pass gas - not kidding. She told me the name, but not available to consumers in U.S. (Thanks EPA, I love you too). I tried ordering from England, to no avail. Found home-made version recipe made with baking soda, which did not work.

Here is link to website where you can now order it.

You're welcome!

Updates to my post:

1. Eradibait refunded my PayPal payment, as the EPA has not approved this for sale in the U.S. It was approved for the EU in 2013.

2. This stuff has two ingredients: ground corn cobs amnd molasses. Why does EPA need to approve this?

3. Wikipedia says the cause of death is dehydration, not inability to pass gas as I thought in my first post.

3. Why aren't dog owners in the U.S. raising hell about this?

4. Does anyone know how to grind corn cobs? [/SIZE

Thanks,
Anne
