So I have a few ducks and geese that I would really like to breed. They are around 2 months old now, and I know they won't be laying anytime soon, but I am wondering how much longer do I have to wait for. Also, at what age should I put them outside? Right now I have them in this huge box and I keep them inside. I take them out everyday for thirty minutes and let them swim. And also, sorry I have one more question, I'm making this eon out of a old playhouse for them. There is going to be a kids pool, and bushes, and nesting boxes, and things like that, so I am just wondering what else would help make it a nice place for them.
Sorry for so many questions, but thanks!:)

Ducks start laying around 5-6 months normally.

Geese it depends on the breed. most start laying around a year old, others lay at around 2 years old. Also, they are seasonal layers usually, though sometimes they lay at diff times.

Alright thank you! I have two African Chinese geese, do you know how long they take to lay?

sure! i don't have african geese (well, not ones that have started laying yet) so i am not sure, but if i am remembering correctly, they are on the longer side of things...they are big, slow growing geese. They are my favorite breed :)

Alright thanks! I guess we will just have to wait and see. And they are my favorite too;)
