At what age for silkies?

I have 3 blue silkies and was wonder at what age can you tell pullet or roo? I can tell around 5 with my rir bit didn't know if silkies are different. These are my first silkies. They are 8 days old so I know I got a while.

Silkies, really, are among the hardest to sex - I'd wait until about 3 months old. Then look at their combs, or pay attention to behavior. (boys trying to charm or harrass girls, boys having a deeper voice)

mine started showing age at five months, but it can take longer

It's funny, I've had Silkie cockerels crow at 8 weeks!

Most of them I can't tell until they are at least 3 months, though.
