Chickens are new to us, this is our firs year. We got 4 BB last spring and in the fall a bear ate 2 so I got 4 more... they are all different breeds... no clue what, I forget! Lol We just got them for the eggs and honestly the chickens are my husbands thing and the ducks are mine... anyway... my little guy noticed some booboos on one of the chickens Mohawks yesterday... looks like she was pecked at a bit. We had to keep the older ones away from the babies for a long time, they were so nasty to them. They have calmed down quite a bit as the babies got larger but are still mean from time to time and bully them. They are all full grown and laying at this point.
So questions:
1. Is there anything I should be putting on her mohawk? I’m posting pics.
2. what do I do about the aggression of the older one?
