Ok, well my son was almost hospitalized because of a bacteria from our chickens:
Campylobacter infection

We have a smaller backyard for as many chickens as we have and since they range all over, my son got the infection.

Anyway I am selling a great deal of chickens and will keep 10 for our chicken run.

If you are interested I can tell you the breeds I have which some are show quality and some are not. I do have lots of chicks!

The adults are all hens! I have one 4 month old I know is a roo though and its a BLRW.

Please PM me and help me out in selling my chickens.

My hens will be $10
chicks will be $3

Thanks for looking

Halo,
Thank you for posting that and yes it could very well be from other sources, yet I do have a health hazard in my backyard. I have around 30 or so chickens free range and my backyard is as big as a 1400sq foot house.

So yea gonna try to get down to 10 chickens, it sucks but yea.

From what Im understanding, unless your son is going out, plucking chickens and eating them raw, that he's likely not getting the bacteria from your backyard chickens. It sounds more like undercooked or raw chicken, which he could have gotten from many many sources.

Im sorry you feel you need to reduce your chickens.
