Attracted to light?

The brooder is in the garage. There is a window, and I keep the garage light on all day. When I go look in the brooder and use the phone’s flashlight to light things up inside, they all run to the feeder and start eating.

It's probably more of a "hey, there's food! Let's eat!" Thing

Everyone is attracted to light. You might want to hang a light over the feed, or at least a light near it. I use a full spectrum light bulb meant for plants. I also turn a light on during the day. I also have chicks in the garage. They need light to help their developing eyesight.
