I hatched these eggs from E-bay sellers.


Are Australorps supposed to have this white tip on the wings?? can be seen in this pic



here he is again.





I have 2 with the white tips and one all black but the one I showed was the first out of the egg and biggest of the 3 cockerels. I am wondering if I should keep him or the one that is completely black.

Boy those Rocks are lovely! I thought Australorps had white tips when young.

oh good then they are right,

thank you I was not sure.... in that case I am gonna keep the guy in the pic def. my strongest of the 3. I have a nice Australorp pullet that I did not photograph the same age

its funny when these BR hatched they looked just like the pics on the BR breeder pages, and I just got ones from a hatchery and the difference in the appearance of their BR chicks from the ones I hatched is huge! I am hoping to keep this pair and breed them.
