My blue australorp got down off the roost this morning and came out int the run but then she laid down on the ground (like she was still on the roost) and is panting. I have seen her get up and move to the water, take a drink, and then goes right back to sitting on the ground and panting. She is much calmer and quieter than her usual self. I have looked her over and she seems fine, but just not herself. Any ideas? Thanks

Her crop is clear and she laid an egg yesterday. I felt her abdomen and did not feel an egg, assuming I did it right….we will see what tomorrow brings.:fl

Very possible the weather ... You're in FL, is it hot?
It is warm….mid to upper 80s…I gave her a dose of poultry cell. By yesterday afternoon, she was not panting and moving around a LITTLE more. I did see her get up to get water a few times and she did eat some oyster shell. I will go check on her at first light this morning.
