Auto door opener for this type of coop (ark style)

Any ideas? I have looked at a few openers and none seem to be heavy duty enough.

No. I want a door opener that will raise the ramp to a closed position. I know this is probably a lost cause, but I thought I would give it a shot.

There is a post on here somewhere for a DIY opener using a drill from Harbor Frieght. You should be able to use a drill motor like that with enough torque to lift the ramp. Otherwise you could get a few pullies at the hardware store to increase the lifting power.

The addamotor looks like it will work fine. Probably my best bet. But, still looking for less expensive means.

I know it is a bit higher priced, but we just installed the McMurray Auto Coop door, and it is excellent! I highly recommend to anyone looking for easy install. Comes complete with sensor, motor, door, and even lights.
