The Foy's battery operated opener is really nice. Easy to install, never have to worry about electric failure, long battery life. I know when you first see the price you might gasp a bit, but it is a quality unit.

Hubby installed one and we use a solar panel to power the battery. It is pretty neat and I love that my chickens don't have to wait on me!

Schroeder, I am considering the Foy,s because of the battery op. does the 189 include the door and everything? Would like to get the full unite so I don,t need to figure out how to hook any thing up. Was going to call them this A.M. Was it easy for you to put up?
