Automatic Egg Turner Qutions on rotation

its an Little giant and started right out of the box. But weird thing is I can unplug it (110v) and plug it back in and it will stop, motor is vibrating but after checking it every hour with golf balls in trays it never did change position. Unplugged it again, plugged it back in and it is rotating non-stop. It is a Synchronous Motor cw/cvv,2.5hr-3r per min

OK---not sure I got you understood, but those turners usually make a complete turn about every 4 hrs----so the eggs are moving real slow----24/7 Is that the way yours is doing---when its working?

Okay, first time I went to use it, it rotated back and forth non-stop. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and now, motor is vibrating but not rotating continuously like it was. But, every time I unplug and replug it back in, it will start rotating continuously-non-stop. Constantly moving back and forth

Hey answer this question----how fast is it moving----how long does it take to make a complete cycle? Every few seconds or a few hours??

farm rite make 2 different 12 egg turners rated for 110v.

The first is a one revelation every 4 hrs and should have come with a prewired 110v receptacle plug.

The second was designed to run 90 seconds every 2 hours and would have come with a special plug that connects to the incubator

from your other post you said the motor was a Synchronous Motor cw/cvv,2.5hr-3r per min. This looks like a typo as 2.5r-3r per min would make sense as that would stand for 3rpm unloaded and as low as 2.5rpm loaded.

a lot depends on the incubator that you are using as I have seen both types used in different brands of incubator and they look like they use the same style plug.

Give us more details and we will be able to help

what brand of incubator.
If plugged in how fast is the turner turning in seconds.
what style plug did it come with.
are you plugging it into the incubator.
what color leads does it have on the motor.
