Automatic plucker machines

Has anyone made their own and can share plans/where to buy the items needed?

Or does anyone here sell them already made or know the cheapest place to buy them?

I've seen them in use and it looks much easier than hand plucking!!

Go to "youtube" and do a search for "whizbang". There are a lot of info videos on homemade pluckers. I am in the process of building one myself. Maybe I can post some pics of my progress. You can find parts on ebay as well. Again search for "whizbang".

When I decide to build my plucker I'll go the whiz-bang route for basic design, but use the 10:1 90 degree reduction gear like the featherman.

You can find your parts other places as well, but this is a good place to start.

Funny story... my daughter told me that "we are going to build the mother of all pluckers" so I think when I finish it, I am going to have a sticker that says "The Mother Plucker".

I used to work for a company that manufactured the rubber fingers for a place down in Mississippi. The company is now closed down but the mold to make these fingers has to be somewhere. Interesting subject
