We are trying to do everything possible to keep our chickens healthy this winter, after the nightmare we went through last year with ILT and then Avian TB. I just ordered them 12 lbs of kelp to supplement their feed, as I read about it's nutritional value. I wondered if we should order some Aviacharge too? Don't want to get too carried away...we are supplementing their scratch and grain with as much variety of scraps as we can, to simulate forage while they can't get any through the winter... and they seem to be of good weight, healthy, and happy. I read that Kelp has a lot of minerals and stuff too, so maybe Aviacharge would be overkill?
