I am expanding and have my first pair of silver hybrid Red headed pochards.(I think they are called) and I am going to build them something bigger than the temp. 8X 8 they are in. Since this is being mostly 4X4 post construction. I was trying to decide how big to make it for them and some others. Also what would be compatible (which I have to research) for nesting etc. Maybe 3 kinds. And / Or, make several smaller aviaries. Seems the top netting will dictate how big to make them. It may be cost effective to base size/ sizes based on the top netting cost or availability. I live rural so the only thing here is 6 ft by 50 or 100 chicken wire that would have to be 'woven' together or buy a net online. Ideas or suggestions on this front?

I have found that wire "fencing" tends to come between 3 and 6 feet tall, but if you look up "deer netting" or "bird netting" the overall dimensions tend to be more of a really large square that may work for your roof/top.
