I have made 2 aviaries but I would like to have some input from other people on how to efficiently use all of the space. The pictures I am showing are rather old but they basically look just like these pictures still. Both aviaries are the same size. 10 feet tall, 10 feet wide, and 16 feet long. The first 6 feet of fencing around the aviary is chicken wire and the other 4 feet and ceiling is aviary mesh fencing. I have been looking for other aviaries to see what king of plants, roosts, and other things they added but the only things I can find are the + $1000 aviaries or fancy zoo ones with ponds and water falls in them. I have 2 adult lady amherst pheasants in the right aviary (with some young peafowl being temperary residents) and in the left aviary I have 3 adult lady amherst pheasants and 4 coturnix quail. They have plenty of space but I want to use more of the vertical space. Any ideas? Are there any small trees I can plant that they and perch in and give them shade? Please help!
