Awesome Poultry/Bird/Small Animal auction in southeastern Pennsylvania

Not really, I'd like to get rid of a trio...would duct tape holding the boxes together help?
Rodriguezpoultry...

I think you would do better selling them as the trio. If you sold them individually, the hens might sell really well and the roo may not, but you never know. However, if you do box them separately, just let us know at the auction, and we can make sure all 3 boxes get sold together and we can sell them as the trio once they get up to the auction block. If you do that, just ask the person who is accepting the birds to get me (Keith) and I can make sure we accommodate you. I'll be at the auction block the whole time because I'll be writing the buyers numbers on the boxes/cages when they get sold.

Let me know your thoughts.

Keith,
Good luck this weekend with the sale. Your black male Orp was one of the largest Orps I had ever seen. It was great seeing and talking to you last weekend. Harry

Thanks, Harry!! Well, he's really one of your males..I just happened to buy him, haha.

Yes! It was a pleasant surprise to see you at the show. Great talking to you as always. Take care.

Hmm....I need to go to this, thing is that I have Langshans. I'd need a half refrigerator box to make them comfortable!

Not knocking the sale or anything...just glad I didn't bring my blue male there. The hens were good to leave, I didn't want them and they were just eating feed. The blue male would have made me sick to sell there, he would have been used for meat or something.

I think it's just because I'm used to the higher-priced auctions of Oklahoma and their show auctions. Ah well. It was a good lesson (and a fun drive!)

Thanks for posting the info Keith!
