And I'm not being sarcastic, they really are.

We can not afford Christmas gifts of any kind to anyone this year. When I informed my teens of this plight. The common answer was, "Are you still making lasagna?"


So Merry Christmas to us-----------we bought oil.


The house won't have any wrapped presents in it, however, it will be packed to the doors with good food, great friends and family.

AND WE'LL ALL BE WARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teenagers are great! I told my older son that I had a very limited budget for Chirstmas, so he suggested we find something his little brother will really like. He said, "Nick's only 8, so he really should be the one to get something." We picked out an art table for him since he loves to draw, CONSTANTLY. My older son said he just wants to go to Midnight Mass and have a really chocolatly dessert. What a sweetie! I did manage to get him something but he doesn't know it.
