I have been using the Nelson 1200 dog waterers now for about 5 years and love them for my dogs. I even have one installed in my kitchen hooked up to the waterlines. We are installing auto waterers for the chickens and ducks outside now and so I thought why not use this waterer for the ducks. We purchased a Fiskars Rain Barrel from Ace

And ran lines into the chicken coop and enclosure using these

But for the ducks I also wanted to add a waterer that would allow them to rinse off their beaks and nose holes so am installing one of the dog waterers for them.

I haven't had any issues with these waterers for the 5 years that I have been using them for my dogs. The float level is adjustable so you can give them as much or as little as you want. The bowl is also removable for easy cleaning. Note: I do not work for Nelson in any shape or form just wanted to pass along what I think is a great product.
I just found one on ebay with a reserve......someone is gonna get a great deal!
