Crowing
Hi All - I am in my first winter with my Cemani rooster, probably coming up on 2 yrs old. It doesn’t get super cold here, but it has gotten down to the teens a couple times. I noticed today from a pics I took of him that his comb was pale, compared to his waddles. I also noticed that the tips of his comb have new growth.
Could the chalky appearance be due to the weather? It looks like he needs some lotion, compared to another picture I have of him in warmer weather. He’s acting fine, eating, drinking, mating, etc. Just would like to know if any owners have noticed this before, or if it’s normal. It seems every pic I take of him, his color is different. The darkest pic is months ago, and the last two are today within seconds of each other. Thanks!
