My personal preference? Look at their pictures of their birds. Combs and wattles showing distinct mulberry color. This is a no no. The roosters from my stock also stand more upright like a primitive fowl and have a large comb. They are not the "American" phenotype. All black, no mulberry. Any birds I had that showed mulberry were culled. You may get birds with mulberry that should be culled and you shouldn't be showing them as representatives of the breed (and your stock).Damn! Can I ask what the issue is with Greenfire Farms?

"American" Cemani are known to have color bleed and other unexpected/undesired qualities. This is indicative of recent cross breeding/hybridization of the "American" Cemani making it less desirable for people looking for the best possible phenotype expression from their birds."
I do still have some that are not spoken for. Noticing also now that GFF no longer even offers them.Do you still have these available? I love GFF and looking forward to a delivery next week but I’ve never ordered AC from them.
