Ayam Cemani Hen’s wing is down, and she steps on it, what can I do to help?

How is she doing, I don’t think she’s egg bound but anything is possible. Have you tried feeling her wing for broken bones

She’s doing ok. Her wing is still down, but she does this weird thing where her head twists and it does down and she goes backwards. I will take a video later. She still eats and drinks, her crop empty’s, and her poop looks normal.

I've seen chickens do that when they have mites, they feel something on them and they try to crawl backwards.

Do mites spread? The other girls seem to be fine. She brings her head down and twists it too as she goes back. It seems weird thought, the ways she does it.

Can mites kill? What can I do to get rid of them? She has been doing this for about 1 week and a half or longer. She also lays down often and doesn’t have the best balance.

Well, mites can make a chicken anemic, but if she has other balance issues it may not be mites. Can you do a check under her feathers? Look for any little crawlies.
Lift the feathers that cover her ear holes and shine a light in there, maybe she has an issue with her ears that is affecting her balance.

If you find mites, I suggest you start a fresh thread asking for help with treating. the chickens I had that were carrying mites, my dad treated. I was a teen at the time, so I don't remember what he used. Just what I saw my birds doing when they had mites.
