I don't mean to say bad things about this farm, just really irritated right now & wondering if others have went through them & had bad experiences also?

I ordered eggs from them just over 3 weeks ago... 25 Tibetans, 25 Coturnix & 25 Chukar. I've had about a 50% hatch rate on the quail but I understand shipping & other things will affect that. I wasn't pleased at all when 5 of the Chukar eggs was substituted with Quail eggs. I really wanted the Chukars more than anything. Now, I've had 2 hatch & they aren't even Chukars! They are Bantams! Looks like I received a total of 3 bantams eggs. I didn't want Bantams, I already have enough of my own. Another thing, I didn't get all Tibetans & Coturnix, it looks like some of them are speckled, some tuxido's & some are a Tibetan/Coturnix Mix. This also isn't what I paid for.
I notified them when the Chukar eggs were substituted with no reply. I just emailed them again to complain. I don't expect them to do anything about it but I do hope that in the future they actually send what they are supposed to & comunication would be nice...

What a screw-up! I've not ordered from them and will certainly have second thoughts about it now. I hope they make this right for you!

Just to clear something up for ya LOL

A tibetan IS a coturnix. that'd be like saying that a labrador mixed with a dog lol it is a dog

So im confused what you're meaning. Are you meaning the tibetan has brown in it? That's not possible for those two colors to mix like that are you looking at them while chicks or are these already feathered out birds?

Tibetans come in MANy different shades and colors so you by all means may have tibetans (and what you paid for)
But getting bantams instead of chukars is just rediculous!

Sorry it took so long...
Yup, when I say Tibetan, I mean coloring. I know they are the same as the Coturnix but there are different traits... They sent Golden Speckled & Tuxedo along with a couple Tibetan & Coturnix...
I was pretty irritated at first but got over it. I do love my Bantams so nice to have more bloodlines... It's just irritating they did so much replacing of eggs. I contacted them, never heard back...
