. . . to dustbathe in a towel!
My daughter and I put a towel on the floor yesterday, placed a cardboard "wall" around it and brought our 2 week old chicks out so we could play with them for a bit. They all immediately began to dustbathe in, well, the towel! It was quite funny to watch them flopping around on the towel. They looked like some of those battery operated dog/cat toys that vibrate around the floor.
Evidently the towel felt really good to them as they spent just about the entire 30 minutes that we had them out "dustbathing".
