Well, a couple of weeks ago, I finally moved the then 6-week-old chicks from the brooder to their new home in the Buckeye Boudoir!
Checking things out and trying to figure out what the white pipes are for.
Still wondering where they are...the brooder was much smaller!
What the heck is this big thing here?
Getting bolder - wandering around - can't figure out the ladder for the roost!
A little higher shot showing the roost and what will be the nesting boxes.
Some found the water - and one figured out partially what the ladder's for.
Just a corner-to-corner shot of the new digs!
And from the opposite corner - hey, some figured out the feeding system!
And now we're exploring and scratching - Buckey Boudoir seems to meet with their approval!
