Baby bobwhite quail question

I had 7 baby bobwhites in a coop with their parents. Then today the mother died, so the babies are only with their father. what should i do? do you think thy bays will be ok? (they are a day old)

You will need to put them under a heat lamp. While male Bobwhites can make a good parent, they can't brood like the momma can. So unless you see him with the babies under his wings, you will need to brood them yourself. Start them at 97 degrees, lowering the heat by 5 degrees each week for 5 weeks.
