thank you so much, this was very helpful, he has gained about 1/3 of his wieght in 1 week!I’ve had rabbits for about 8 years now and have had two litters in those years. So I have a bit of experience with raising newborn bunnies, but not a whole lot. The poop usually is the color it is because of what the rabbit’s diet is. So I think it’s normal, as long as the bunny isn’t showing any signs of lethargy. The bunny should also be pooping regularly and it shouldn’t be strung together or be irregularly shaped, it should be a sphere shape. So if those aren’t any signs your bunny is showing, I think the baby is perfectly fine! I think it’s good you’re giving it support for its gut too because stomach issues can happen easily in bunnies and can be deadly. So the bunny seems fine, it’s a runt so it definitely won’t be as big as it’s siblings. Hope the best for you and this baby!
