Baby chick choking

We have a baby chick that is not doing well, 2 days old, and still not completely fluffed. We tried helping it eat and drink but it was not swallowing. Just recently we noticed that it was opening and closing its mouth like it wanted to eat, but looked it up and we think it is choking on some internal fluids. What should we do?

Did you hatch it?
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do but wait and see.
Don't try to force anything in it's mouth..one drop down the wrong pipe is a death sentence.

Yes we did hatch it, sorry it took me soooooo long to get back to you, I know it's not great when someone never gets back to you on something. Chick struggled on for a while and we tried giving in some sweetened water. It slept a lot... and then never woke up. Thank you for your help.
