So we picked up some new babies for our flock at the feed store. My daughter fell in love with this little guy/gal because of the fuzzy feet and unique color. Any idea what breed this is? Thank you for your help

Does it look like it has a small pea comb? or a single comb? The pea will look flatish at this point, the single will have tiny teeth like a hair comb.

If its a pea, then she's a baby bantam dark brahma, pullet.
if its a single, then its a cochin, and you'll have to wait a bit for the gender.

Thank you for your help :)
Chick has a flat pea comb, so that means she's a dark brahma pullet. Pullet is good news. I have a question though. Brahmas are really big chickens right? But because she's a batam she will be small. Is that correct? I have silkes and polish so I hope she will be small and fit in :)
Thanks again

Yeah she will essentially be a small version! Congratz on the new chicks :)
