It doesn't matter if they were laid a week apart or gathered over a week's time, they'll all hatch around the same time as the embryos don't start growing until you put them in the incubator. You put them all in at the same time, but still, some will hatch sooner than others.I have eggs hatching so far 4 are alive and well however there are several eggs still in the incubator and I can here peeping but see no pips what should I do? Yesterday was the hatching day according to my calendar possibly off a day? Eggs provided by a friend that said they were all layed same day, I’m thinkingmaybe not layed but gathered…
Yey! Congrats! Hopefully, they all do!Thank you for responding, so this morning two more eggs have pipped and peeping!
Yeah she sat in there for over 24hrs this is 3 days laterI am assuming you just got it out of the incubator? I would put it back in the incubator for 24 hours or so at 95F.
If it's a couple days old, then I'd soak its bottom in weak, warm, Epsom salt water for several minutes, then see better what you're looking at. You can blow dry it on low. I'd keep it separate from the others so it doesn't get picked there.
Fortunate they aren’t pecking at her so farWhen into-ing weak new chicks to robust chicks I put them in a small no peck basket.View attachment 4089055
