I noticed one of my baby chickens bleeding today when a couple of the other chickens were pecking at it. It looks like its just new feathers coming in or growing out but he and the others kept pecking at it so I separated him so they but he is freaking out. Could separating him cause more issues or will it prevent? I remember hearing chickens will end up killing the other chickens if they see blood, I really don't want that. please help me out!

How old are they, and are they all the same age? Nustock cream, Bag Balm, Vicks, and AntiPick lotions may help prevent the pecking. May sure they are not overcrowded, and are getting a good 20% protein chick crumble. A red brooder light can also help keep down pecking.

they are all the same age and I don't believe they are over crowded they all have plenty of room to run about. thanks for the information about the lotions!
