Hey y'all! I ended up ordering some chicks online and received 18 beautiful and healthy little ones!
I bought a surprise lot and thought I'd be able to identify all the babies since the possibilities of what you could receive were listed, but I have a couple that's threw a curve ball at me. These guys came from Cackle Hatchery and their "Top-Hat" Special. I originally thought they sent me 5 Golden Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhaubens, but three of the babies are distinctly different from the two that are obviously spitzhaubens. I was also told that since I only ordered 15, and three were extras, that the extras may be a different breed and not a "top-hat" variety.

The pictures don't really do them justice but they are a very dark red color.
In the first picture, a golden spitz is on the right and it's on the left

First thing I thought of was that chick looks a lot like an Egyptian Fayoumi. A Partridge Rock is also definitely a strong possibility. I agree that it'll be a wait and see situation.

I could definitely see them being Egyptian Fayoumi, but I guess time will tell for sure! Thanks y'all!

Turns out all of them did end up being Spitzhaubens! Coincidentally, the three darker ones all look to be roosters while the lighter ones seem to be pullets! Never heard of Spitzhaubens having any sex-linked coloration, so Its probably just a weird occurrence, but a cool one never the less.
