Baby chick itching a lot?

Is it normal for a baby chick to itch a lot? I got it 2 days ago and he itches under his wings, feet, butt area. Not sure how old but pics of it are here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=391140

Um, is it maybe just doing normal chicken grooming stuff?
You know, like when they use their beak to preen through their feathers.
All my chicks do that kinda stuff even when they've still just got fluff...

No it's not normal grooming. I've raised chicks before and they've never groomed like that, only normally

If it's something you've never seen before and you've raised chicks a few times then I'd say it's not normal. Have you figured out the problem yet? Assuming you've checked for lice and mites, could it maybe be an allergy to whatever you've got on the floor of your brooder?
