It's been a looong time since I've posted here
Anyways, I got a batch of new chicks, and they've just now been set free to roam the coop. We kept them in a carrier (made of chicken wire) within the coop for a while so the older chicks could get used to them, and now they are free to roam. I noticed when I checked on them tonight that one of my two buff orpingtons looked sort of... green in the face. At first I thought it might have been getting picked at, but it had feathers on its face, or at least the same amount as my other buff. But this chick looks gray/green in the face, and it has me concerned. Is this a disease? Are the chicks just not getting access to food/water from the other chicks? Help!
