baby chick pooping blood

chick is 4-5 days old and just noticed bloody stool. eats and drinks and acts normal.what should i do?

I had the same happen to my new chicks this year. I started them all on sulmet. I lost the one who had bloody stools but no more. Why are the new chicks getting this. Mine had never been on the dirt and had just arrived. I got them through a feed store so I don't know where they ordered them from. Jean
PS. All the others are now 6 weeks old and doing fine.

i dont know, we've only lost one chick from spraddle leg or it had a ripped tendon
