Baby Chick Questions...

So, if I was going to move my chicks out early, (4-5 weeks) would I need to keep a heat lamp in their coop? I live in central Texas, and I'm getting my chicks in June.

So you're getting day old chicks in June and will be moving them outside in July, correct?

I'm pretty sure at that time of year even at 4 weeks they'll be fine. I think you'll almost need a mister for them during the day by then, won't you?
