Baby Chick separated from mother chick..

Hello! so we have this mother hen who has 3 chicks n one seems a bit injured so i brought him inside for a while- will the mother not recognize him after or will it be fine. the chick will be inside but not for too long. he is around 2 weeks old

It all depends upon how long the chick is kept inside. The sooner returned to the mother the greater the chance she will accept it. Monitor the introduction closely.

Best to leave it with it's hatch mates and mama.
