Baby chick that now seems to just let the poo run down his butt

I have a 3 week old chick that had pasty butt that I fixed by soaking it in warm water to loosen it and gave him olive oil. That worked fine for it but now he seems to just let the poop run down his butt. It is white liquid stuff and it just runs out of him and sticks to him. It is not on the ?vent?. That seems to stay clean. Any ideas? Is it diarreaha? I am giving him yogurt with his medicated feed. Could that be the problem? Thanks for any advice.

Give him some hard boiled egg. Electrolytes and vitamins in the water. Banana would be another good thing to help slow the poop system down a bit. (It does in humans)

What happens when this chick receives ONLY his medicated feed?

Usually yogurt is a treat and not a staple. It helps regulate a system if the system is off track. But others on here might have a different way of using yogurt.
I just use it as a treat once a week. But they do not require it to live.

They have been on the medicated feed also. All day today that is all they have gotten and they still seem to have runny white poo running down them. As we speak I am boiling the egg and removing the yogurt. Hopefully by the morning I can tell u more. I have the electrolytes in the water also. I clean them off everymorning noon and nite to keep them clean. Thank you for the help. I will let u know how it turns out.

Usually 24 hours after the change is a good indication of how it will go.
Also, have you done a search on here for runny poo?
