Baby chick

I have three 2 week old chicks being raised by one of our hens. I just found one of them with it's eyes closed. They appeared to be growing closed? I did manage to get one of them open with a q-tip and warm water. But not sure what is happening.

Sometimes chicks' eyes get a bit gunked up and needs cleaning with a q-tip, as you've been doing. The problem should resolve itself within a week or two.
