baby chicks and a duck

Well I had a surprise delivery last night. My duck had some hidden eggs and hatched out a baby. We tried to separate the mom and baby but we couldn't catch her. So, we have the baby currently living with my chicks that were hatched out earlier this week. Will this be ok? I know how messy ducks are and I don't want to harm my baby chicks but I can't leave the baby duck alone either.

I've had success with ducklings / chicks raised together in the past, only real issue is ducks make a huge mess of the water dish! I let mine out for a swim in the kitchen sink a few times a day to satisfy that natural swimming urge. Cute!
Edited to add - You will have to clean up a LOT more often with that duck in there...but you'll end up with a really friendly little duck.
