Baby chicks and fly Larvae?

I was just reading a post about 2 week old chicks having a little bit of dried meal worms as a treat and was wondering if Fly Larvae is also ok? When I was waiting for my little ones to arrive I was in TS buying some things for them and the girl told me they would LOVE this Fly Fiesta treat.
Also...what is that one very special treat that you experienced Chicken Parents find brings them to you no matter what they are doing at the time?? I will need to get some of that....lol.

Mine like apples, mangoes, cucumbers, mice, eggs, cat food, toads, corn, berries, any type of grain, small birds, really anything besides peppers and lettuce

Just remember that if you're going to give them anything but their chick crumble they'll need grit.

Ours like cucumbers, mealworms, banana, nectarines but no matter what they are doing they come running for rice. Just don't forget the grit.

Yes...have already started them on chic grit. Have given them some dirt from our yard and grass.

Rice does not have to be cooked, but I wouldn't give it to chicks anyway.

Raw rice is included in some feed mixes especially for pigeons.
