Baby Chicks have finally arrived

Hello,

Baby chicks have arrived. It was like Christmas morning LOL...I ordered them back in March and had to wait 5 long months LOL. I received 4 Buff Orpingtons and 4 Easter Eggers.. so excited to see their actual colors. These are all hens.

Hi! It looks like you got some pretty colors! I hope you will keep updating us with pictures as they grow! Buff Orpingtons and Easter Eggers should be a great group of chickens to start with. Congrats on your new flock!

Gosh aren't they so precious!! I can't wait to get mine too. I am just wondering, since you ordered them in March why did they just arrive? Who did you order them from. I am planning on ordering mine in October and I'd be devistated if it took months for them to arrive!

Since I'm a first timer. I want specific ones; friendly and good for a first timer; and I also wanted colored shells. So after multiple times going to TSC (which I know work at LOL), they were always sold out. So I ordered them online, and at that time the ones I wanted, I had to go on a waiting list. I ordered them from Purely Chickens, they were great. And anytime I have questions, I email them and they always respond by the end of the same day. I ordered for 6 and they sent 2 extra, I know have 8 LOL..I would absolutely order from them again. I would suggest looking into the hatchery that you want to purchase from and see if there is a waitlist; if you are looking for a certain breed.
